Dear members of the Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and all our International guests,

Congratulations and welcome to the 64th Annual Meeting and General Assembly of our association. We would like to express our gratitude to all of you who actively participated in the academic conference, and to Professor Jun-Young Paeng, the academic conference chair, and the faculty of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Sungkyunkwan University for their preparation.

During the past three years of the untact era, we cannot express how much we have longed for this meeting today. Furthermore, holding the academic conference at the 600th Anniversary Memorial Hall of Sungkyunkwan University, which has inherited the 625-year tradition of scholarship nurtured by our people, will surely fill us with infinite pride.

Last year, we held the 63rd Korean Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Annual Meeting and the 15th Asian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as a hybrid academic conference, which demonstrated our capacity and academic depth to the fullest. This academic conference will be an opportunity for us to raise the level of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to a higher level based on our world-class capabilities.

We hope that all members will inform and encourage all oral and maxillofacial surgery colleagues around the world to participate in this academic conference so that they can enjoy not only K-OMS but also K-Culture in the heart of Seoul, the capital city of Korea.
